I assume the hollow parts are now filled with 2 more magnets. The Original rotors ( flywheel) has two magnets and each magnet has two laminated steel "soles" as to provide a "north" and a "south" pole ( so four "poles" in total,) the steel soles are visible, the magnets invisible because they are cast into "Zamac" the AluZinc metal alloy . to improve the magnetic power of the flywheel I assume two additional magnets "short circuiting" the already present soles thus providing additional "North" and "south" magnetic forces
