It is correct that my Solex 3600 is equipped with a coil-plate and coils from a 4600 machine.
I also toured around on you blogsite and found a lot more information I was looking for.
Congratulations with your Blogsite!!!!!!!!!!!!
What I couldn’t find is an description of the flywheels. I would like to figure out if the flywheel on the 4600 coil-plate is the correct one.
I hope that you stay safe and well NY are for what concerns Covit-19. I can imagine the fear in each family.
They strong!

Dirk

The 14-3-1966 date is the date of approval of the Cyclomoteur 3800 engine. It is not the date of manufacture.
"Reception Paris" means "officially approved in Paris".

I have a photo showing the standard 3800 flywheel next to the 4600 V2/ V3 flywheel on this page:

Please post a photo of the interior of your flywheel so that I can see.
