Dear Brian, super thanks for the information on the 4600 type.
It is correct that my Solex 3600 is equipped with a coil-plate and coils from a 4600 machine.
I also toured around on you blogsite and found a lot more information I was looking for.

What I couldn’t find is an description of the flywheels. I would like to figure out if the flywheel on the 4600 coil-plate is the correct one.
I hope that you stay safe and well NY are for what concerns Covit-19. I can imagine the fear in each family.
