Hello,

I m French and live in the Netherlands. I would like to buy a solex 3800 and use it like snorfiets (blauw kinteken).
On markplaats there are solex with and without kinteken.
If without it s clear what I have to do:
https://www.rdw.nl/Particulier/Paginas/Een-kenteken-aanvragen-voor-een-Nederlandse-bromfiets.aspx
BUT I m not sure that a solex 3800 have always a blauw kinteken because I ve seen geel kinteken on solex on markplaats.

So I would prefer to buy a solex with the blauw kinteken already on it, my question is what should a do? Someone told me to go to postkantoor :-O !? Now I need your help.

If I find a solex, I pay it, after I go to the postpoint of albert heijn? what should I ask? and after I go to my assurance I guess.
Which paper should I ask to the seller do I have to fill a document before to buy?

The next part of my question is about after, is there a tax to pay? (I won t be surprise ;-) ) a technical control to do? how often?

Thank you very much for your help, like you can understand I have really no idea how it works in this country how to buy a motorbike. My poor Dutch level doesn't help my research on internet.

Met vriendelijke groet,
Roland

ifyou buy a solex with a registration, you have to transfer the registration into your name, the present owner needs to hand in transfer documents having either a transfer document ( old system but still valid) or to the new system ( if recently transferred there is a change to the new system, then the owner needs to have two four digit codes ( so in total eigth) which you need to use to transfer the registration into your name.. after which you should collect the vehicle ( if properly paid for)

No tax, but it is mandatory to have the vehicle insured, if not the RDW will sent you a huge penalty
